Gil Dezer's focus is on the $560 million Porsche Tower. He said his company has 55 reservations for 132 units amounting to about $275 million in sales to date. He expects to break ground on the project at 18555 Collins Ave. in the spring of 2013.

Dezer said Porsche construction is being funded in part by requiring buyers to pay a 30 percent deposit. He's also looking to land a bank loan for about $225 million.

Interesting that in 2010 they originally proposed to the FAA to build this tower at 799 feet - but it got chopped to 649 feet due to Opa Locka airport.
