This fight will be going on for a long time. ...even if it passes in the state legislature, it will be a huge fight in Broward County.
I think people also fail to realize how big the local gambling market is. Many people think of Magic City Casino (formerly flagler dog track) as a crappy local casino, however last year they took in $1 billion. Other local casinos are also posting huge numbers.
