Drove by two days ago and noticed that the steel rebars for the pilings are huge, about the same as the ones for Brickell House.

Did you notice when exactly construction started?

Probably mid July, they have been doing site work and removing utility lines for a while now.

The name that they used on the construction permit for this project is Skyview. They did indeed modify the MUSP.

Today…looks like Melo changed the design from the original Rosabella. It looks more like 23 Biscayne.

Curbed Miami on Skyview
BTW Sean: The new name is Skyview (Sky View?) – the old name was Rosabella.

For a not-so-high-profile project, this place is looking really good.

Right, thanks. BTdubs, the aerial photos have it as Skyview, not Sky View, so I think that’s what it is.

I live right across the way in Paramount Bay and by my count, they are up to 31 floors today. I hope it doesn’t go much higher (earlier reports were that it would be only 28 floors).

Skyview is pretty close to topping out now, sometime within the next few weeks.

Looks like they’ve gone as high as they are going to and are now putting the finishing touches to the roof.
