WAvNA Members and other Neighbors,
Please, mark your calendars to attend a presentation by Crescent Heights on Tuesday, January 15 at 6pm about plans for 600 Alton Road AKA South Shore Hospital and the surrounding lots. We will send an invite shortly so you can RSVP. Based on the headcount we will arrange a location for the meeting.
FYI, there will likely be more than one meeting with different community associations so you can plan attendance accordingly.

500 – 600 Alton is set to appear before the Miami Beach Planning Board on January 22, 2013.
The board will hear a request to build a robotic parking garage as part of the proposed mixed-use commercial and residential project.

Most elements of this project were approved by the Miami Beach planning board last night.
It will still need to be approved by the Miami Beach design review board.

Site work underway… demolition of the half built structure (which was called ‘Vitri’) at 500 Alton is underway.
Contractor Bergeron Land Development is to cut the existing rebar and backfill.
The project was approved by the MB planning board last week.
